Leaders taking part in tripartite meeting held at the OPMCM in Singha Darbar on Thursday, December 10.

The tripartite talks held among the ruling coalition, the main opposition Nepali Congress and the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front ended without making any headway against the thorny issues including provincial boundaries, on Thursday afternoon.
The top leaders of the parties discussed all major issues including provincial boundaries and the proportional inclusive representation but did not make any decision today.
According to leaders, the talks, however, ended on a positive note.
Meanwhile, the UDMF constituents have showed their readiness to pass the Reconstruction Authority Bill from the House.
Before going to Singha Darbar to take part in the talks, the UDMF parties had held a meeting and decided to carry on with the ongoing agitation unless their demands are fulfilled in a package.
Earlier today, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had tweeted that the tripartite talks was scheduled for 3 pm. The talks which started at 3:30 pm lasted for half an hour only.
Prime Minister Oli was accompanied by two deputy prime ministers, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic and Kamal Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, and Law Minister Agni Kharel as well as senior leader of his party CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Nepali Congress Vice-President Ram Chandra Paudel, General Secretaries Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Sitaula and leader Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat represented their party in the talks. Party President Sushil Koirala, however, did not take party in the talks today.
UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal represented his party, while Upendra Yadav of Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal and Mahantha Thakur of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party represented the agitating UDMF.
